I totally stand by the saying 'a clean house is a happy house'. I dont know about you but when my surroundings are clean and everything is in its place I feel more relaxed. However that being said I dont wish to spend my life with my hands in rubber gloves, therefore I am all about simple, fuss free cleaning. One of my favourite cleaning products is the infamous Zoflora.
An 'easy to use, multi-room & multi-use disinfectant' that not only smells incredible but also takes the hard work out of day to day cleaning. Since I received my welcome pack from Nationwide last September I have been hooked on the twilight garden scent (I dread to think how many bottles I have gone through in a year), however it may be time for my go to scent to retire to the back of the cupboard as theres a new, fresher scent in town in the form of Lemon Zing. An incredibly fresh scent described by Zoflora as 'a zesty blend of juicy lemon, spicy ginger and sweet grapefruit'. Aside from the fabulous scent the most noticeable difference with this bottle is the added addition of a scratch & sniff to the box, a feature that I hope will be added to the other bottles in time.
Here are my top tips for simple fuss free cleaning with a little help from Zoflora:
1. Fill a trigger bottle with diluted Zoflora (I tend to pick mine up from the £1 shop) and use it as a multi purpose cleaner. Not only is a spray bottle perfect for cleaning worktops after food prep but it makes life so much easier when you have to carry one product around the house rather than lugging a cleaning caddy that is bursting at the seams.
2. I blame the fabulous Mrs Rackley for my obsession with the next tip. Each night after washing up I will fill the sink with boiling hot water and a capful of concentrated Zoflora which I will leave overnight. Not only does this simple tip leave the sink squeaky clean but it also helps to erase any unwanted food smells whilst producing an incredible scent that will linger until the next morning in the process.
3. As an owner of four cats I rely heavily on Zoflora to help keep my house clean and fresh. I was thrilled when Zoflora released a formula that was safe to use around my beloved furbabies. Over the past two years I have tried every litter tray spray under the sun, but nothing compares to this. I like to spritz a small amount of diluted Zoflora into the litter tray (wiping everything down with a kitchen towel) before adding a fresh bag of litter.
4. Once a week I will pour a capful of concentrated Zoflora into each sink and toilet bowl. I find this works best in the shower as a means to eliminating any potential odours.
5. Finally I like to pour quarter of a bottle into my multi steam cleaner. When I deep clean the bathroom I like to steam clean the shower glass with this and an ecloth. Together these are the only tools that you will need for smear free windows and glass (this is coming from the girl who has a thing about clean windows). Equally I also find this perfect paired with the steam mop for clean, fresh and streak free floors.
